Jon Huggett Joins GiveOut’s Board of Trustees

GiveOut is proud to announce the appointment of Jon Huggett to its Board of Trustees.

Jon brings considerable experience offering support to non-profit organisations, from coaching leaders to advising on boards around the world. Jon has chaired the boards of All Out; the STOP AIDS Project; Organisation for Refuge, Asylum and Migration; among others. He currently serves on the board of Alwan Foundation.  

A professional coach and board advisor, Jon has run three companies; a health care operation on four continents, an economic development consultancy, and a web startup. He also wrote chapters for books about global non-profits and while working as a Partner at Bain & Company, Jon co-founded their LGBTQI employee group.

Jon Huggett said:

GiveOut launched in 2018 with the mission to grow giving to support LGBTQI human rights worldwide. In just five years, through a period of pandemic, political upheaval, the impacts of climate change and other crises, we are so proud of what we have achieved together with our community and allies.

We have built an award-winning, unique organisation, providing a new way for our community and allies to support global LGBTQI activism. Most importantly, guided by LGBTQI activists on our Grantmaking Advisory Panel, we have channelled £1.7 million in new funding to over 40 remarkable LGBTQI organisations across six continents, with a focus on the Global South and East.

GiveOut is excited to have Jon join our Board of Trustees as we continue to grow giving to the LGBTQI movement around the world.
